instal fullA living vermiculture compost system of plastic bins filled with shredded paper, locally grown produce and worms generate nutrients to support desired growth, rather than indiscriminate urban sprawl. Gallery visitors are encouraged to participate by shredding informational material amassed at nearby mega-fairs such as Art Basel. As more paper material is contributed to the system, compost bins with new bedding are added to the modular form. Stacks resemble nearby hotels and high-rise structures. Finished compost lines the space in boxes, available for people to take and distribute on a plant or area that is stressed and needs support to thrive. This gives participants an opportunity to have voice about the kind of growth they want to see in the city where they live or visit.
