Building on the idea that the distinction between\u00a0land and water is perpetually\u00a0fluctuating in South Florida, Fifty-Fifty further blurs this condition in\u00a0attempting\u00a0interspecies communication, sharing participants\u2019\u00a0stories and drawings\u00a0with sea life on a local reef. Fish are thought to have spatial memory. Lobsters and sea turtles live up to a hundred years. What if we could transmit\u00a0some of our memories to the species that will inherit at least part of our cities? What if we could keep some of our memories local?
